A synth that plays like a real instrument

ELYSION 2 is built on the same ensemble engine as THE ORCHESTRA. Play a chord, and the engine builds it into a full, moving arrangement. Think of it as the orchestra, rebuilt for synths.

Play softly and you get calm, restrained tone. Dig in, and the sound opens up: more overtones, more grit, more force. That happens because every sound in ELYSION 2 was sampled the way an orchestra is sampled, across multiple layers of dynamics, not stretched from a single recording. The result responds to your fingers like an acoustic instrument, even though every source is synthetic.

Sampled like an instrument, not a synth

When a guitarist plays a string gently, then cracks it hard, the tone changes, not just the volume. A trombone played softly is calm and dark; played hard, it distorts and overflows with overtones. Real instruments behave this way.

ELYSION 2 was built to behave like the real thing. Each sound was recorded across multiple velocity layers and round robins, every layer shaped by hand so that soft and loud feel like the same instrument played with more or less force, never two different samples crossfading. The whole thing holds together as one coherent instrument across its full dynamic range.

ELYSION 2 runs on Sonuscore’s ensemble engine, the same technology behind THE ORCHESTRA. Load up to five instruments across five slots, play a chord, and the engine animates it into a full arrangement. Each slot has its own arpeggiator, envelope and effects, so you shape the result as far as you want to take it.
